Moorland View Cottage – Devon, UK – Sleeps 4 (Ref: 2177)
Accommodation
Indoor Space
Bedrooms
Most rooms have window seats giving way to beautiful views of the village and Dartmoor beyond.
The main bedroom has a king-sized double bed and the second room has a king bed which can be split into two singles. Both come with crisp, White Company bed linen, scented candles and a bottle of fresh, local spring water.
The bathroom comes with Molton Brown cosmetics, underfloor heating and our famous copper bath is big enough for wallowing a deux.
Living Space
The living room has original flagstone floors cosied up with fluffy rugs, a lovely old stone fireplace (logs included), a five-seater feather sofa and a window seat looking onto the rose garden. The dining area is in living room.
The kitchen is small, but full of top-end equipment, such as Smeg appliances and Global knives - all you need to cook that Sunday roast.
There's a downstairs WC.
Outdoor Space
Our small, south-facing walled garden is garlanded with rambling roses, honeysuckle and clematis. A small pond attracts frogs, dragonflies and garden birds. There's a table and chairs for dining al fresco and a garden bench for catching morning rays. You can watch birds feed from the bird table and, in Spring, you might see chicks nesting.
There's private parking to the rear of the property.
